82 RAT positive in Cachar on June 21; 2 dead in SMCH due to Covid including a 5 yo kid

The Cachar district has reported 82 RAT positive cases on June 21 out of 8,142 swabs collected. In Silchar Medical College & Hospital, till 5 pm Monday, there are 122 active Covid cases at the Silchar Medical College & Hospital. 71 patients are in the ICU ward and 51 patients are in the Covid ward. 10 patients are in ventilation support and 92 patients are in oxygen support. 

In the last 24 hours, 15 Covid patients have been admitted to the Silchar Medical College & Hospital and 26 patients have been released from the same. In the past 24 hours, 2 patients have died in the Silchar Medical College & Hospital due to Covid. One of them is a 5-year-old child from the Karimganj district.

Rakhal Chandra Dey, aged 76, from the Kathal region of the Cachar district, was admitted to the Silchar Medical College & Hospital on June 17 and died on June 21, 8:15 am due to Covid.

Rejazul Haque, 5-yeard-old, from Kanishal of Karimganj district, was admitted to the Silchar Medical College & Hospital on June 18 and died on June 21 at 8:50 am due to Covid.
