New year gift from APDCL! hikes tariff

Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) is going to hike tariff with effect from January, 2019. A notice has already been issued regarding this enhancement.

As per notification, per unit cost will be Rs. 8.10 instead of Rs.7.36 i,e about 9.9% increase.

APDCL has already obtained the approval from the Regulatory Commission.
