Administrative re-organisation in all three districts of Barak; IAS Laya Madduri is the new DC of Cachar

In a major reshuffle, Laya Madduri, IAS will be replacing S. Lakshmanan, IAS as the new Cachar Deputy Commissioner.

S. Lakshmanan will, meanwhile, be taking over as the Deputy Commissioner of Sibsagar district and will be replacing Pallav Gopal Jha, IAS.

Meanwhile, Adil Khan, IAS will be replaced by J. Keerthi, IAS as the new Hailakandi DC. Adil Khan, IAS will be the new Bongaigaon DC and will be replacing Babulal Sharma.

Also, Karimganj will be welcoming their new DC P.B. Roy, former District Development Officer, Cachar who will be replacing Pradip Kumar Talukdar, ACS.
