The last dance: Young Abhishek dies while dancing on stage

He wore a black cap, he wore a badge, he was doing moonwalk, he was doing break dance, he was doing everything that would make a 15 year old’s parent stand with their head held high. The occasion was 70th Republic day and the song was popular Bollywood number Ishq Wala Love.

Class X student Abhishek Nath with his moves managed to get most of the audience on their feet. Few were even compelled to remove their phones and start recording. The Dudhpatil residents were having a gala time, all of a sudden Abhishek fell on his head right at the centre of the stage. The music went on and the cheer continued as most of the present audience thought it was just another dance move from the young talent. Few seconds later a young woman screamed, “Maa Bhai Porigese” (brother collapsed on the stage) and the recording stopped.

That was Abhishek’s last move of his life’s last dance. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors examined him to find he was brought dead. The mother lost his son the sister got separated from his brother the valley lost a talent and the city got into a state of mourning.

Nath was about to sit for his board examination in 2019, but as it turns out, god penned a different story from the young boy. Call it fate or call it cruelty that’s what it is. 15 year old Abhishek Nath is no more, the clinical explanation is he suffered a fatal heart attack.
