Silchar’s Swarnali in top 15 of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs; Tune in to Zee TV today at 9 pm

Silchar still fondly remembers the summer of 2005, when Debojit Saha passed rounds after rounds of iconic reality show Zee TV’s Saregamapa. He emerged as the winner and thousands other in Barak Valley said deep inside, “we too can do it”. That was the new beginning, in the recent past, we have seen many participants in reality shows broadcast by various general entertainment channels.

Today, we will see a 12-year-old rock the stage in Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs. Swarnali Acharyya, a resident of Das Colony, Silchar, has made it to the top-15. Her performance in the mega audition – the round of 30 will be telecast today. From here she will get picked up by any of the three mentors and she will be a part of their team.

Speaking to Barak Bulletin, Swarnali’s father Sandeep Acharya said that he is proud of his daughter, but, at the same breath, he added, “This is just the beginning and she has to go a long way from here.”

He requested the people of Barak Valley to watch Swarnali’s performance and bless her, “Blessings are very important. Singing is a profession and while becoming a good singer should be her goal, she should also focus on becoming a good human being as that is very important,” Sandeep Acharya adds.

Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs will air every Saturday-Sunday at 9:00 PM on Zee TV.
