Infighting in Congress: Karimganj candidate Swarup Das is fake SC alleges party's State leadership

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Dr. Ramananda Das, Chairman, Assam PCC, SC Department has complained to Congress President against Karimganj Congress candidate Swarup Das.

The Chairman, in a letter officially marked to AICC President Rahul Gandhi, writes how Swarup has allegedly procured his SC certificate only in 2007. He also alleges that the certificate is false and issued without verification.

Ramananda in the letter also mentions how Swarup reportedly has always maintained during his education years that he belongs to the General category.

Concluding the letter, the Assam PCC chairman requests Rahul Gandhi to cancel Swarup Das’ Congress ticket from Karimganj Lok Sabha seat.
