Assam Rifles and Police seize 180 Gelatin Sticks & 180 detonators from Anamul Haque’s house

Alarming signs in the Island of peace. A young individual identified as Anamul Haque has been caught in possession of 180 numbers of gelatin sticks and 180 detonators. Anamul Haque is the son of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Bhangarpar part IV which comes under Borkhola constituency.

Today 37 Assam Rifles’ Subedar Dhani Ram Gogoi along with other Police personnel from Borkhola Police station conducted a search operation at the house of Anamul Haque and seized the gelatin sticks and detonators from his house. The joint team of Assam Rifles and Borkhola Police also managed to arrest accused, Anamul Haque.

As per Police sources, the entire search operation was conducted after Sub. Dhani Ram Gogoi was tipped off by one of his sources. Gogoi then went to Police station and informed the Police officials about the possibility of finding explosives at Anamul Haque’s house.

Police sources also informed us that a case has been registered against Anamul Haque. Currently, Police is interrogating Anamul Haque and investigating the matter.

What was Anamul Haque’s motive? Was he going to smuggle all the explosives or did he have any other intentions… It is for Police to investigate the matter and find answers to those questions.
