Head on collision of bike-Auto Rickshaw in Mahasadak, three persons seriously injured

In a sad turn of affairs three individuals got critically injured in a road mishap on Mahasadak in panch-mile area.

At around 5:40 PM in the evening a motorbike collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw, “As it looks like, one individual seems to have died on the spot while two others are critically injured,” says our correspondent present on the spot. All three wounded individuals were travelling in the auto-rickshaw. Among the three wounded one is a woman and she said they are residents of Fulertal area.

The eye-witnesses present on the spot told our reporter that both the auto rickshaw and motorbike were overspeeding due to which the accident occurred, according to them.

The newly bought motorbike rickshaw broke into pieces due to the impact of the collision. “Fortunately the rider of the motorbike is fine. We saw him walking and talking to the locals. He himself informed that his bike is newly bought and he is yet to get a registration number plate from the district transport office,” inform our correspondent reporting from the spot.

The auto rickshaw’s registration number is AS 11 CC 5728. “108 was dialled immediately after the accident but the ambulance took close to 40 minutes to reach the spot which irked the locals present in the spot,” says our correspondent.

It is also worth mentioning here that many accidents have been reported in this spot in the recent past.
