Senior journalist, Jugasankha's Biswajit Roy Barman is no more

After fighting ill health for almost a week, senior journalist, Biswajit Roy Barman breathed his last earlier today. He was admitted in the ICU in Silchar Medical College and Hospital. His untimely demise at the age of 48 has shocked the entire fraternity.

He was working as senior sub-editor at Dainik Jugasankha and was based out of the daily broadsheet’s Guwahati office. Biswajit Roy Barman is the son-in-law of author and former editor of Dainik Jugasankha Atin Das. Apart from the broadsheet he has worked with many other platforms too.

His mortal remains will be brought to Dainik Jugasankha office at around 1:40 PM today for his co-workers and close ones to pay respect one last time.
