Latest update on NEET 2021 syllabus

Due to the outbreak of pandemic this year, there might be some changes in the NEET 2021 exam. There are possibilities that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will revise the NEET 2021 syllabus due to the difficulties in curriculum completion this year because of COVID 19. It seems difficult right now for the schools to take regular classes and complete the syllabus for class 12th. This issue was taken up by the education minister of various states and was discussed on Tuesday with Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, who is the Union HRD Minister.

After the discussion, Mr Manish Sisodia, who is Deputy Chief Minister for Delhi, tweeted that they have requested the central government to reduce the curriculum for all classes by 30 percent. He also added that there should be a revised curriculum for the national level entrance tests like NEET. So, while keeping an eye on NEET 2021 registration dates also check for any change in syllabus.

This could be a big decision which will be taken by the central government in the coming time. These changes, if implemented, will result in the reduction of the syllabus for NEET 2021 exam by 30 percent which will be in the interest of the students owing to the current situation in India. There is no further notification on the NEET 2021 syllabus from the ministry. However, the syllabus for NEET 2020 exam will be the same as earlier, which is scheduled on 26th July 2020. The revised date for NEET 2020 exam is taken by considering all the factors related to COVID 19 situation in the country. The NTA is yet to release the admit cards for NEET 2020 exam.
