Dead body in India Club ground premises; Police suspect murder

In a shocking turn of events, today morning residents of Tarapur area in Silchar noticed a body lying in the India Club ground premises. After localities realised that it is a dead body lying on the ground they informed local Police and Police officials came and recovered the dead body.

Barak Bulletin got in touch with the Inspector in charge of Tarapur outpost and he informed that Police is suspecting it as a ‘murder’. The officer revealed that the deceased is identified as Nanda Jana and is a resident of Kathal Road Silchar. He said the investigation is on and Police will get to know about the cause of death and other details after receiving the medical reports.

How did the body reach India Club field, what happened with Nanda Jana, why he had to lose his life are questions that Police investigation will demystify. But there is a larger question too, Is peace in land of peace under threat?
