Police raids SPA in Goldighi Mall Silchar; detains five

A large contingent of Assam Police raided RN Heaven Spa and Beauty parlour located in Silchar’s Goldighi mall. The Surprise raid shocked the management, but the police were well prepared for resistance.

They knocked at the doors of the cabins and started investigating the proceedings inside the SPA cum Beauty Parlour. The raid was conducted by Silchar Sadar Police Station and according to sources, the police officials were acting on a tip-off.

Eye-witnesses confirmed that five individuals including two male and three female were detained by the Police after the raid. Police sources inside Silchar Sadar also confirmed the development.

A source in Silchar Sadar Police station informed that the officials recovered items that are not generally needed for hair and makeup. “The Police officials found many items and wrappers of products which are not needed at beauty parlours,” informed the source.

Officer in Silchar Sadar Police station said they will not make a statement at this stage as the investigation is still going on.

Along with RN Heaven Spa and Beauty Parlour, VLCC parlour was also raided by the Police. However, as per sources, nobody was detained from there.
