Silchar boy Saptaraj Chakraborty shoots Kapil Sharma for Netflix
It is often said that a dream does not become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work. Silchar boy Saptaraj Chakraborty has once again proved the saying.
The young man recently shot forba special Netflix video with comedy king Kapil Sharma in Mumbai. The said video is an announcement of Kapil joining hands with the platform for a special project.
An engineer by profession and director by passion, Saptaraj Chakraborty had high aspirations to reach the level where he is today. His determination, dedication, hard work, efforts and confidence made his dream successful, by making his mark in the entertainment industry.
Before Kapil Sharma, Saptaraj Chakraborty has earlier worked with Raima Sen, Kartik Aryan, Soha Ali Khan, Abir Chatterjee, Ritabhari Chakraborty among others. Recently, he also helmed number of videos featuring popular YouTubers like Ashish Chanchlani, Aisha Ahmed Kusha Kapila.
In an interview with a Barak Bulletin, Chakraborty said, “Today we have internet which is not less than a blessing to us. You want to learn anything just Google it and make the best use of your skills. Nothing is hard in today’s world. When I dreamt of shooting big celebrities, even I did not know anything about shooting, I never knew that you could shoot a single scene in parts, and then edit it together.”
“I liked to shoot, and so would write my own scripts and get my friends to act. Back in the day, the college backyard became our set. My keen interest to in cinema somehow pushed me to carry on. Today I shoot ads, music videos, promotional videos. I have also worked as an assistant director in a movie but I wish to see myself directing my own film someday,” he shared, talking about his journey.
Saptaraj Chakraborty also shared his views on the recent Netflix video shot by him. He said, “I had a very good experience shooting Kapil Sharma which I will forever cherish.”
He went on to add, “No dream is small and there is no such thing as impossible. If you want to do something then beg, borrow, steal but do it. This is your life. Don’t waste time wondering what others thing, follow your heart. I know parents will always worry about their children, but it is the child’s responsibility to sit with them and make them understand that you are doing nothing wrong. Make them believe in your dreams.”
