To make daily life easy, Bonosri Chakraborty, Bornali Choudhury launch 'Rozer Bazar'

Today, time is the most important asset in one’s life. With only 24 hours in a day, and so much to do, human beings often find themselves running short of time. Also, the Cachar district along the entire country is embracing digital India. Keeping that in mind, Silchar’s Bonosri Chakraborty and Bornali Choudhury have rolled out a platform with the aim to make daily life easy for Silcharians. Titled “Rozer Bazar” it is an app through which one can order household items like groceries, chicken, meat, vegetable, fruits, fish and many more.

“We will deliver all around the city and at the best price,” said the founders of the e-commerce platform. They added that the platform intends to become a part of Silcharians’ daily lives, through which one can place orders every day. This will save people the time needed to visit markets and haats beating the traffic jams. Also, the country is still in the middle of a pandemic and social distancing continues to be the norm and this app can save people from crowded places.

There are many families in Silchar where the children stay outstation with only parents at home. Using this app, children can order household items from wherever they are and those will get delivered to the doorstep in Silchar. The founders stated that the app has been designed in a manner that remains user friendly for all type of customers and not just the tech-savvy ones.

Bonosri Chakraborty and Bornali Choudhury are residents of Silchar and apart from making life easier for the shoppers, they have another aim, which is to drive women empowerment. “The founders are women, most of the employees we have hired are women and we will continue to recruit females as we want this to be a venture driven by the local women,” said the founders.

The app has been developed in Silchar and the entire team is stationed locally, informed the founders.
