Dholai OC Sahab Uddin donated Rs 50,000 in Silchar for "Ram Mandir Nirman" in Ayodhya

A nationwide crowdfunding drive started on January 15 and will continue till late February. This drive is to secure funds for the construction of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The fund is collected by Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust which has been formed in accordance with the historic Supreme Court Judgement.

Organisations like Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) are also collecting funds on behalf of Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Donors, who are also identified as ‘Ram Bhakts’ are donating funds voluntarily. President of India, Ram Nath Kovind has made a donation so far and thousands of other have also done the same.

Secretary of the trust, Champat Rai, has said in an interaction with the ANI, that the trust has already received donations worth upwards of Rs 100 crore.

OC of Dholai, Shahab Uddin Barbhuiya has voluntarily donated Rs 50,000. He drove to the office of Hindu Jagaran Mancha’s Narshingpur branch and made the donation. “I called them and said why will you come to my doorsteps, instead, I will drive to your office and be a part of this historic moment,” said Shahab Uddin Barbhuiya.

He was accompanied by his family members. “The amount is not the big factor, what I wanted to express is my thought process. I wanted to send across a message of brotherhood, unity, and bonhomie. I am grateful to the officials, Amalendu Das, Rupam Saha, Pinak Das, and others for accepting my donation and making me a part of this historic moment,” added Sahab Uddin Barbhuiya.

“It sends across a great message,” said Amalendu Das. He added, “This is not the first time Sahab Uddin Barbhuiya has always been a nationalist and has worked for the larger good of the nation.”
