Aminul Haque Laskar receives honorary doctorate from Bharat Virtual University

Deputy speaker and incumbent Sonai MLA, Aminul Haque Laskar has received n honorary doctorate degree from Bangalore headquartered Bharath Virtual University for Peace & Education.

According to the information provided on the website, Bharat Virtual University is a purely independent Self-style private educational body, a unit of Non-Government Organization names UNIVERSAL CARE FOUNDATION TRUST which is registered with NITI-AAYOG Government of INDIA.

Sharing his experience of after receiving the doctorate, Laskar posted on social media, “Today, I am delighted to receive an honorary doctorate degree in Social Welfare, Skill Development and Active Politics from Bharat Virtual University for Peace and Education.”

He informed that this honorary degree was conferred to some selective persons of the country through a convocation organized by Bharat Virtual University for Peace and Education in Bangalore on March 13. “Due to the nomination submission process of Assam assembly election on March 12, I could not attend the convocation of the university in time to receive that award,” shared Laskar.

He concluded, “So today, I am very happy to receive this prestigious award from Dr. M.M Ahmed Director and Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Bharat Virtual University for Peace and Education at Assam House, Delhi. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the authorities of the University including the Director, Registrar, Dean, and especially today I would like to thank all the people of Sonai for this honor.”
