Dead body of a Tripura man found on the Railway track near Badarpur ghat

Today morning, the railway authorities were shocked to find a mutiliated body of a young man at the railway track near Badarpur Ghat. The body seem to have been cut in two pieces from the head by the impact of the train.

The youth has been identified as Tapas Paul by the railway police. As per information, the boy was not carrying any identification documents and police found out his name from his ATM card. As per sources the deceased is a resident of neighbouring state Tripura.

Since the body was completely on the track, police suspect it to be suicide though they haven’t ruled out accident or foul play. The body has already been sent for postmortem.

Recently there has been a significant increase in the number of deaths on the Railway Track. Couple of days back body of Rahul Das (22), resident of Nathpara and son of Lt.Arun Das was recovered by railway police force.
