A 50-year-old Mizoram government employee has been missing since December 9. A resident of Sonai Road, Barun Banik left home in the evening with a red suitcase. His wife has sought help asking people to share information on him.
Chandrani Banik shared that given her husband often steps out for work, she did not question him when he went out. However when he did not return by night, she called him only to find that he has left his phone at home. There has been no trace of him since then.
Seeking people to share information on him, the wife said that her husband was wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and blue shoes. He was also carrying a red suitcase with him.
