Minister Ranoj Pegu's 2-day Barak Valley trip; Will visit model SC Village in Cachar, lay foundation stone of Women's College in Ramkrishnanagar

The Cabinet Minister of Assam for Education and Welfare of Plain Tribe and Backward Classes is going to visit Barak Valley on a two-day tour with various programmes. Dr Ranoj Pegu, the minister, will first reach Silchar on March 6, 2022. This minister will reach Silchar by road from Dispur to Silchar via Meghalaya. After reaching Silchar circuit house at the scheduled time of 9 in the night, he will halt and gear up for the next day, when his main events are scheduled.

In the first hour of March 7, he will reach Barsangan Grant of Cachar to visit Prime Minister Adarsh Gram Yojana Model SC Village. Later, he will leave for Badarpur at 11 to attend the inauguration programme of a new academic block or KNB Women’s College, there. After Badarpur, the Minister will leave for Latu and reach there at 1 in the afternoon. He will attend the Platinum Jubilee Programme of Latu Model Higher Secondary School. Later, at Nayabazar, he will inaugurate the Community Hall of Nayabazar High School at 2:30 PM.

At Karimganj, Dr. Pegu will attend the inauguration ceremony of Jubilee Gate of Saraswati Vidya Niketan Higher Secondary School. Followed by that, he will attend the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of Model Women College at Ramkrishna Nagar. After which, he will attend an early dinner at the residence of MP Karimganj, Kripanath Mallah.

At 9 PM on the same day, he will reach Silchar for a halt at night and continue with his programmes the next day. On March 8, he will attend a meeting with different SC ST OBC and Linguistic Minorities Organisations at DC’s conference hall in Silchar. The meeting will start at 10 in the morning. At 1 in the afternoon, he will leave for Guwahati by road, after lunch at circuit house and reach Guwahati at 9 in the night. The minister will be accompanied by his official personal assistants and security.
