'Bumba Da', Rituparna Sengupta, Zubeen Garg to visit Silchar for Prag Cine Awards

Prag Cine Awards 2022, the award show honouring the best of Assamese cinema will be held in Silchar. The extravagant award ceremony will be held on 26th March 2022 at DSA stadium and will start from 3 P.M.

The award show will be attended by the shining stars of Assamese cinema and everything will involve a huge amount of pomp and splendour.

The organisers have said that by holding the awards in Barak Valley, they are trying to build a “cultural bridge” between the Brahmaputra and Barak Valleys. They have said they feel Barak Valley feels alienated from the Assamese speaking parts of the state and they hope to bridge that gap.

Big names from Tollywood will also be present. Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rituparna Sengupta and other stars will be gracing the event with their presence. The awards will also feature musical performances from Zubeen Garg and other Assamese singers. The award ceremony will also honour locals from Barak Valley who have highlighted the culture and tradition of the region in the mainstream.
