Two men die as speeding truck collides with Auto Rickshaw in Badarpur

In a tragic turn of affairs, two individuals have lost their lives. Today morning, in Badarpur Srigouri area, a horrible road accident claimed both the lives.

As per available information, a loaded truck was accelerating fast when it collided head on with an Auto Rickshaw travelling towards Nilam Bazar. Due to the impact, the auto rickshaw slipped off the road.

Mujibur Rahman, (Mona, 42) is a resident of Burunga GP’s Altarpar Village and Joynal Uddin (55) of Sarisakuri area were the passengers and they have died on the spot. Auto driver Sufiyan has been admitted to the Silchar Medical College and Hospital in Critical Condition.

The local Police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead bodies to send them for postmortem. The Police have managed to nab the truck and the driver has been detained at Badarpur Police Station.
