Moving truck caught on fire, driver's prompt action saves the truck; incident caught on camera

A moving truck caught fire today, while it was on the way to Silchar from Kalain. The rear side of the moving truck was caught on fire and the flame was rapidly growing. Upon realising about the fire, the driver’s intelligence and prompt action saved the day. He got his truck down from the highway, near a ditch and dozed off the fire. This incident has happened in the Ranighat area of Kalain. 

This afternoon, a cement carrying lorry was caught on fire, probably due to overheating or friction. As the fire was on the rear end of the truck, the driver had no idea that a flame was taking the shape of a huge accident behind his back. A bike rider, when saw the flame, caught up with the speed of the truck and yelled to the driver about this fire. It took him a while to understand the situation.

It was a potential threat, because if the flame spread, it could have become fatal not just for the driver and the handyman but also dangerous for the houses nearby. The driver acted smart upon realising about the fire and dealt with it cleverly. He moved away from the residential area and almost jumped with the truck near a ditch. Then with the help of the locals, he was able to doze off the fire with water.

The whole incident was caught on camera where the 12-wheeler truck was seen speeding with the fire in its rear side. Locals of Ranighat who gathered there appreciated the driver and helped him to save his truck from the fire.
