
Python enters car engine in Udharbond, rescued after three hours
A mishap occured while rescuing a python snake in Udharbond. Coming out of the bag, the huge python snake entered the engine of a car. After three long hours, the python was rescued from the car’s engine. The incident took place in Cachar district’s Udharbond. It occured as range forest officials were about to release the python snake in a deep forest in Udharbond.
The seven feet long python was rescued by locals two days back from a farming field. Later it was handed over to Forest Department. Today morning officials of Forest Department departed in a vehicle to release the python snake in Modhura Indranagar reserved forest area of Barail Wildlife Sanctuary. After going some distance a mishap occured infront of Pangram Bit Office. Suddenly, the driver noticed that the python came out of the bag and got on top of the car’s dashboard. The driver stopped the car immediately but the snake crawled inside the engine of the car by that time. After many attempts, the snake could not be rescued. Later, Mrinal Barbhuiya, a local experienced snake catcher, was called to the spot. He tried for three hours and finally rescued the python. Finally, the seven foot long python was released in Barail Wildlife Sanctuary.
