Husband and mother-in-law arrested in connection with Bariknagar housewife murder case

Last Sunday night, the dead body of a house wife viz Nazmin Sultana was recovered in the second part of Bariknagar. After filing a murder case against five people including her husband, the police have arrested the husband of the housewife, Kamrul Hussain, and her mother-in-law, Molesa Begum. They are currently in police custody and are being interrogated. It may be mentioned here that after the news of the housewife’s death spread in her house back at Sonabarighat, the locals of Sonabarighat blocked the road demanding the arrest of the accused with the dead body of the housewife.

The angry locals at that time told the media, “We demand immediate arrest of all the five accused in the incident who hatched a conspiracy and murdered her. Till now not a single accused has been arrested and they’re roaming freely. We were bound to block the road finding no other way. Till the accused are not arrested the road will remain blocked. We demand the district administration to hang the perpetrators and produce them before a fast track court for swift justice.”

Now it needs to be seen if the arrested are produced in a fast track court as per the demand made by the local people.
