
Third phase of Gunotsav begins in Cachar, SP visits Nazirpatty Model Primary School as observer
On the first day of the third phase of Gunotsav, Numal Mahatta, SP of Cachar, visited Nazirpatty Model Primary School where he played the role of teacher. As the observer of Gunotsav, he interacted with the students and taught them lessons. The SP was impressed by the educational environment of the school and interacted with the students for a long time.
It maybe mentioned that alongwith few other districts of Assam, Gunotsav has started in 2168 schools of Cachar. Today on the first day, Gunotsav was held in 751 schools of the district. The Gunotsav will end on Saturday.
Speaking to reporters, the SP said, “I took part in the third phase of Gunotsav. Nazirpatty Model Primary School is an old school located in the heart of Silchar City in Cachar district. There are more than 200 students in this school. I interacted with the students as well as the teachers. Gunotsav has enabled these students to achieve mental excellence which will allow them to standout in future. Alongwith the students, their parents also came to visit the school. Members of the Managing Committee as well as non teaching staff were also present as all of them are very conscious about the future of the students. They have expressed hope that Gunotsav will help the students in building a bright future in the coming days.”
The SP added, “The students have answered the questions in OMR sheet which is a new method for them. Even students of lower classes like Class 1 and 2 have answered the questions in OMR sheet. The questions have also been prepared well and I believe that it will encourage the students to face competitive examinations in future.”
