Unidentified dead body found near Madhura river in Udharbond

On Friday morning, an unidentified dead body was found near the Madhura River in Udharbond’s Dayapur. The body was discovered by locals who immediately informed the police. The Udharbond police, led by ASI Ranjit Sinha, arrived at the spot and recovered the dead body. The body was later sent to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of the area. It is not yet clear how the person died or why the body was left by the river. The police are currently investigating the matter and it is not certain if the person was murdered or committed suicide.

It may be mentioned that yesterday too a decomposed dead body of an unidentified individual was recovered by Tarapur Police from a drain near Tarapur India Club in Silchar. Retrieving unidentified dead bodies one after another has raised serious security concerns in the district.
