An unidentified man died in a road accident in Hailakandi

In a tragic turn of affairs, today morning in Hailakandi district an unidentified man lost his life. The man was sitting in the front sit of a an auto rickshaw and he suddenly fell off the vehicle. The auto rickshaw’s rear wheel rode over the man. The driver did not bother to stop instead left the body unattended and fled from the spot.

The locals of Vichingcha area rushed to the spot and attended the body. They drove the deceased to SK Roy Civil Hospital in Hailakandi where the doctors there declared him dead. Despite searching in numerous occasions, doctors or locals could not find any identification proof. The body is now kept in SK Roy Civil Hospital and the family members are yet to be informed.

Meanwhile the auto rickshaw involved in the mishap is also missing.
