The momentous event is scheduled to be broadcasted live on August 23, 2023, starting at 5:20 pm.

The Office of the Mission Director of Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission has issued a directive to all District Mission Coordinators across Assam, emphasising the significance of the mission and its potential impact on inspiring a new generation of scientific enthusiasts. The directive calls for the active participation of schools and educational institutions throughout the state.

As part of the initiative, all schools are requested to extend their operational hours until 6 pm on August 23, 2023. They are further encouraged to organise live streaming sessions within their premises, enabling students and faculty members to witness the Chandrayaan-3 soft landing in real-time. Moreover, schools are urged to extend invitations to neighboring institutions, fostering an environment of scientific curiosity and innovation among young minds.

The live broadcast of the Chandrayaan-3 mission can be accessed through multiple platforms, including the ISRO website (https://www.isro.gov.in/), ISRO’s YouTube channel, and DD National TV channel.

Mr. Om Prakash, IAS, Mission Director of Samagra Shiksha, Assam, expressed the significance of this event in terms of inspiring the youth and promoting scientific inquiry.
