Young JCB Driver Dies in Land Excavation Mishap in Cachar
An unfortunate incident has led to the death of a young man who was working with a JCB. The deceased, identified as Jahangir Alam Laskar, was operating a JCB for land excavation in Kashipur area of Cachar.
Reports indicate that while he was operating the JCB, a large portion of land suddenly collapsed directly onto the machine, trapping Jahangir inside. Locals quickly stepped in to assist and managed to rescue Jahangir from the trapped situation. However, he was found unconscious.
He was promptly taken to Silchar Medical College and Hospital for treatment, but unfortunately, the doctors confirmed that Jahangir could not be saved. This tragic news has deeply saddened the community, mourning the loss of a promising young man like Jahangir.
According to reports, illegal excavation operations are frequently carried out in the area. Locals assert that this incident is yet another example of the dangers associated with such illegal activities, resulting in the loss of a JCB operator’s life.
