Outrage Over Katigorah MLA's Illegitimate Entry During Board Exams
Board examinations in our country garner significant attention from students and their parents. During this period, numerous measures are taken to ensure the fairness of the examination procedures, including prohibiting the use of mobile phones.
Additionally, entry of outsiders into exam centers is strictly prohibited. However, an unusual incident occurred in Katigorah constituency. Mr. Khalil Uddin Mazumdar, the MLA of Katigorah, visited Kalain’s Higher Secondary School and Judirsthir Saha HS School, Bihara, during the examination hours.
This visit was not ordinary; everyone accompanying him had mobile phones, and photos were taken, later appearing on the MLA’s official social media page. This incident sparked a debate within the community regarding how someone gained entry to the examination center during the exam, despite regulations.
In the photos shared by him, he can be seen entering the exam halls and posing for photos amidst the students. In his social media post, he claimed to have inspected the examination process for correctness and expressed prayers for the students’ bright futures.
Soon after the images were posted, they sparked controversy over the legitimacy of his actions. Many criticized him, demanding strict action for breaking the rules by entering the schools during examination hours.
Following the debate, the MLA promptly removed all the pictures from his social media page. However, the damage had already been done. In this digital age, once something reaches the internet, it tends to remain accessible indefinitely.
