Election Results Live: Will BJP Modi-fy Barak Again? Or can INDIA pull off a surprise?

The counting of the Lok Sabha poll begins very soon. The counting of votes will start at 8 AM. In Silchar, the votes are being counted at Inter State Truck Terminus (ISTT) Ramnagar and in Karimganj at the Karimganj College. We will unfold the latest as the results come in from both the Lok Sabha Constituencies.

The last election saw a BJP-led TsuNamo with Rajdeep Roy and Kripanath Malla winning from Silchar and Karimganj seats. Rajdeep Roy is not contesting elections as the Silchar seat has been reserved for SC after the last delimitation exercise. Will Kripanth manage yet another term? To know that you have to keep an eye on Barak Bulletin.

Even though Trinamool is an alliance partner of the INDIA, they still contested from the Silchar seat along with congress candidate Surya Kanta Sarkar. Will INDIA win in Silchar or did Radhesyam Biswas and Sarakr split the votes and make it easy for BJP’s Parimal Suklbaidya? Only the results will reveal that.

In Karimganj, lawyer Hafiz Rashid Ahmed Choudhry, a high court lawyer had alleged BJP of booth capturing and various anomalies. Will that be an anti-incumbency election? On the other hand, Shahbul Islam Choudhury of the AIUDF had remained more or less in controversy throughout the elections.

As counting begins in the country amidst the tightest security, we will unfold the latest.
