Silchar MP Parimal Suklabaidya Directs Immediate Repair of National Highways in Cachar

Newly elected Member of Parliament from Silchar, Parimal Suklabaidya, convened a crucial meeting with key departments of the Central Government in Cachar district on Wednesday, focusing on infrastructure development and civic issues. The meeting, held on Wednesday, saw the participation of significant Central Government departments such as NHIDCL, NHAI, Railways, Food Corporation, Central PWD, ONGC and Oil India, among others.

During the session, MP Parimal Suklabaidya emphasised the urgent need for repair of major National Highways traversing through Cachar district. He directed the PWD to initiate immediate measures for ensuring the maintenance and smooth functioning of these crucial roadways.

The meeting was attended by Cachar District Commisioner Rohan Kumar Jha, Cachar BJP District President Bimalendu Roy, ADC, alongside bureaucrats representing various Central Government departments. The collective effort aimed to streamline coordination among Central Government agencies and accelerate development initiatives in the region.

The initiatives discussed are expected to pave the way for improved infrastructure and better connectivity, thereby benefiting residents and stakeholders across Silchar Parliamentary constituency.
