CM Biswa Sarma to Inaugurate Key Projects and Celebrate Milestones During Three-Day Visit to Barak Valley

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will arrive in Silchar on August 22 for a three-day visit to Barak Valley. During his visit, he will inaugurate various developmental projects and attend meetings. He will also celebrate the 150th anniversary of the District Bar Association in Silchar and perform the bhumi pujan for Dholai Model Degree College.

On August 22, the Chief Minister is scheduled to land at Silchar Airport at 1:45 PM. On the same day, he will lay the foundation stone for an RCC bridge over the Barak River in the Silghat area, fulfilling a long-standing demand of the locals from Banskandi. In the evening, CM Sarma will also participate in the bhumi pujan ceremony of Dholai Model Degree College.

On the second day of his visit, Himanta Biswa Sarma will travel to Hailakandi to engage in various activities, including a meeting with party workers. Later in the evening, he will visit Karimganj to attend party activities.

On the final day, August 24, Sarma will attend a review meeting at Silchar Medical College and Hospital. To conclude his visit, the Chief Minister will participate in the Sesquicentennial Programme of the District Bar Association of Silchar, which is celebrating its 150th anniversary.
