NRC: Just before the publication of the final draft, who says what
Sarbananda Sonowal: If the names are missing from the final draft of NRC in, Barak Valley, Bhramaputra Valley, Hills or anywhere in any of the 33 districts of Assam, no one has anything to panic about. Everybody will have the right to appeal and until and unless the appeal is settled, the citizens will have all the rights and nothing would be revoked , no one would be recognised as a foreigner and no one would be forced to detention camp.
Sushmita Dev: I don’t want to speculate on the number of names that would be missing and all, but I would like to assure that my party will be there for the Indian citizens who missed out on the list because of shortcomings in documentation and all. Barak Valley has always been a peace loving place, I am sure people of the valley will receive it well. But, there are political parties which would intentionally create chaos to fulfil their vested interest, I have asked the administration to take strict action against those.
Kabindra Purkayastha: NRC proceedings are on able hands and assisting common man are at the core of the team. But there are a few selfish individuals who are misleading innocent citizens to fulfil their vested interest, while doing so they are derailing the entire procedure. I appeal to all to ignore such attempts and keep faith in the Government.
Dilip Kumar Paul: Anxiety and uncertainty is easily evident in the mood of the mass, but let me assure, no one would be intentionally kept away in Sarbananda Sonowal government.
