ADC Sumit Sattavan to take charge of Municipality board from Niharendra Narayan Tagore

Rejig in the organisational structure at Silchar Municipality Board. The office of deputy commissioner has issued an order stating that Chairman of Silchar Municipality Board, Niharendra Narayan Tagore will handover charges to Additional Deputy Commissioner of Cachar, IAS, Sumit Sattavan.

The letter issued by the deputy commissioner’s office states, “In the interest of public service IAS Sumit Sattawan, additional deputy commissioner (of Cachar) is hereby deputed as executive officer Silchar municipality board as per section 53 of municipal act 1956.”

The letter signed by DC, Barnali Sharma adds, “In addition to his normal duties with immediate effect he will take over charge from the Chairman of Silchar Municipality Board.”
