Akhanda Sangha Pradhan Sri Sri Tapan Brahmachari arrived in Barak Valley on a 4-day visit
With a four-day tour schedule plan, Akhand Sangha Pradhan Sri Sri Tapan Brahmachariji has arrived in Silchar on Monday. After landing at the Kumbhirgram airport this afternoon, the devotees brought him to the Ayachak Ashram on Radhamadhab Road in Silchar in a restricted procession. He will leave for Hailakandi district’s Katlichherra at 11 am on Tuesday. There is a scheduled Shobha Yatra, one of the attractions of which will be the devotees of the Riang community. They will take part in the procession in their traditional attire, which is going to be a wonderful sight.
Manna Deb, Secretary of the Silchar Ayachak Ashram, said that the four-day tour includes Diksha Daan, the inauguration of the temple, Shobha Yatra and a visit of devotees. Apart from this, Sri Sri Tapan Brahmachariji will also take part in several important organizational meetings. He said, “Sri Sri Dadamoni will leave for Katlichherra on Tuesday morning. He will leave Silchar in a well-decorated vehicle and will be joined by various devotees. There, he will stay at the house of Ajit Paul. The Diksha Daan ceremony will be held on the morning of Wednesday, April 14 in Katlichherra. The ceremony will start at 9 am and other arrangements have already been started including the registration of all the necessary names. After the Diksha daan session, Sri Sri Dadamani will visit the desperate visitors. He will leave for Hailakandi in a Shobha Yatra in the afternoon.”
“Sri Tapan Brahmachariji will spend the night in Hailakandi and will inaugurate the newly built Upasana temple on the next day i.e. 1st of Baisakh (1st month of the Bengali calendar) at 6 am. At 8 am, an Upasana session is also scheduled there. After the Hari Om Kirtan and the Nagar Parikrama session, he will leave for Silchar. In the afternoon, he’ll attend the devotees at the Silchar Ayachak Ashram. He will return to Kolkata by plane on the morning of April 17.”
After many years, the Akhanda Sangha Pradhan is staying in Silchar for the Bengali New Year, which has created a lot of excitement among the devotees. Usually, in such ceremonies organized by the devotees of Sri Sri Swami Swarupananda Paramahansadeva, decorum is observed. The occasion gets even more beautiful through the enchanting Hari Om Kirtan and the Swarupananda Sangeet. However, since the Corona situation is still looming large, there will be extremely strict protocols at every event. When he arrived in Silchar on Monday, it was observed in his Shobha Yatra too. Everyone was wearing masks, using sanitisers and maintaining social distance. Whether it is Diksha Daan or Shobha Yatra or darshan daan ceremony, in every case these matters will be strictly observed, that is the instruction of Sri Sri Tapan Brahmachari.
