Andhra Pradesh born CRPF Jawan shoots himself with his AK 47 in Barak Valley

In a shocking turn of affairs, A CRPF Jawan, identified as Mangala Tippeswamy has shot himself with his own service rifle. The bullet pierced through his head and he was dead on the spot.

24-year-old, Mangala Tippeswamy, son of Mangala Negabhushan is a resident of Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur city. He was deployed in the 184 CRPF camp located in Rajeshwarpur, Hailakandi.

As per available information, the patrolling officers saw Mangala Tippeswamy bleeding from his head while lying on the ground late last night (early morning). The local Police was immediately informed about the incident and officials reached the spot. The Police said Mangala Tippeswamy was dead when they reached the camp and so the body was sent to SK Roy Civil Hospital in Hailakandi. From there the body was sent to Silchar Medical College and Hospital as it was a death due to gunshot.
