He was the Assistant Professor in Neurology, Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai, India.

He was involved in teaching activities for neurology residents in Mater Misericordiae university hospital, Dublin, Ireland, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada and Sri Ramachandra medical college, Chennai. He is an MD, DM (Neurology), Fellow in European Board of Neurology (Germany), Fellow in Movement Disorders & Fellow in Movement Disorders – Surgical -DBS (Toronto, Canada).
