The students of Assam University Silchar have blocked Hailakandi Road demanding immediate arrest of Computer Science Student – Krishangshu Chakraborty and former student Biswarup Bhattacharjee.

Bhattacharjee was spotted with the chief minister too and was on record to say he has powerful connections in Gauhati High Court.

Following the assurance, the students decided to withdraw the road blockade with a caveat that if the accused students aren’t arrested within tomorrow, they will again start the protest.
