Assam University’s Convocation to be held on the second week of Feb ‘23, Form fillup starts tomorrow
Assam University’s 20th Convocation is going to be held on the second week of February 2023. The application for the 20th Convocation will start on December 20 and will continue up to December 26. Degrees will be conferred upon various scholars, graduates and post-graduates of the central varsity. This was informed in a notification issued by the Registrar of the university on December 19.
The issued notification read, “The Candidates, who are eligible and willing to attend the Convocation should apply online for Registering in the prescribed Online Form available in https://www.ausesamination.ac.in/certificate wef 12:30pm of 20 December 2022 onwards. Last date of submission of application forms along with all supporting documents is 26 December 2022 upto 12:00 midnight.”
The fees applicable for the students attending the convocation in physical form is 2500 rupees and for those who can not attend physically, the fees have been fixed at 1700 rupees.
In this convocation, degrees will be conferred upon M. Phil and PhD degree holders, Post Graduates of various courses, graduates of the three-year degree course of the university and its affiliated colleges, professional courses like B. Ed and Law graduates and Bachelor of Vocation.
The notice issues also read, “There will be a Rehearsal on the day before convocation at Assam University, Silchar Campus for those attending the Convocation physically. Applicants must report to the University Campus by 10:30 A.M. for the same and for collection of Convocation Dress Participation in the rehearsal is compulsory for all candidates who are willing to attend the Convocation physically.”
For the students not willing to attend the Convocation, they may apply for the Original Certificate after the Convocation as per the normal procedure, said the notice issued.
