Assam University Silchar is organising a workshop on incubation and entrepreneurship to boost the moral spirit in students and to encourage them towards innovation.

Assam University Silchar’s Career Counselling and Placement Cell issued a notice stating that it is going to organise a two-day workshop on incubation and entrepreneurship for the students of Assam University Silchar.
The workshop will commence on September 11, 2019, and conclude the very next day. Various dignitaries including academicians, entrepreneurs will join the session. Biswajit Paul, founder of QuickObook a digital startup that enables one to book doctor’s appointment online will speak at the workshop.
The discussion will reverberate around:

1. How to spot opportunities by connecting dots.
2. How to plan and execute it, and avenues available for Start Ups relating to govt grants and angel funding.
3. How to earn the first 100 customers and retention policy when it starts scaling big
4. How to create or add value for customer and grab investor’s attention to close round the deal
5. SWOT Analysis.
6. Support available from Start Up Assam Nest.

It is also expected that an incubation centre is going to open soon in Barak Valley to support entrepreneurs. Incubation Centres supports entrepreneurs with mentoring, networking, raising funds and also gives space to set up own office at their centre in the form of co-working space.
