Auto-rickshaw accident in Cachar leaves four, including a child seriously injured

Four people, including a child, were seriously injured in a tragic accident that occured in Borkhola’s Kashipur, after an auto-rickshaw lost it’s control and fell on the side of the road. The injured were identified as Supa Dhar (35), Biplab Dhar (45), Sabitri Dey (65), and a four-year-old child named Biraj Dhar. The accident occurred at around 2 pm on Monday.

According to sources, a passenger auto-rickshaw with registration number AS11 BC 4982 was carrying passengers when it lost control and veered off the road. Hence four passengers, including a child got seriously injured.

Local people immediately informed the police, and a team led by OC Monmohan Raut rushed to the spot. The injured were first taken to the Borkhola Primary Health Centre, but due to the seriousness of their injuries, they were later shifted to the Silchar Medical College and Hospital for better treatment.
