Badarpur Police arrests three youths carrying pistol

Big success for Badarpur police as they arrested three youths carrying a pistol today. As per reports, Badarpur Police secretly conducted an operation at Alekargol Nuton Bazar and succeeded in arresting three youths named Momin Uddin, Mohammed Ibrahim and Jainal Ahmed.

The Badarpur police received information that those three youths were coming from Alekargol carrying pistol. Then the police started naka checking in Inglabazar area. Suddenly they saw the three youths speedily approaching with a scooty. They intercepted the scooty and arrested the three youths recovering a pistol from them. The youths were immediately taken to Badarpur police station.

Speaking to reporters Karimganj SP Partha Protim Das said, “A team of Badarpur Police led by OC did a naka checking based on an input of youths carrying pistol. They intercepted a scooty with three youths named Momin Uddin, Mohammed Ibrahim, Khalil Jainal Ahmed and recovered a 0.32 mm pistol from them. The scooty was also seized by Police. After initial interrogation we came to know that the youths brought the pistol from Dimapur and wanted to sell it here.”
