Barak Valley based history professor Debojit Dey to receive Gold Medal from UAE Govt in Dubai

The head of the Department of History, S.K. Roy College at Katlicherra in Hailakandi district – Debojit Dey has been invited in an international seminar in Dubai.

The two-day seminar, which will be on “Individual Contribution for International Integration and World Peace, will be held at Holiday Inn, Dubai on November 24. It is being organised under the aegis of the Association for Rising and Talented Personalities.

Dey, who is among the eight persons from India and the only one from the Northeast to be taking part in the event, will present a paper on the problems in Kashmir and its solutions. He will also receive a certificate, memento and a gold medal from the UAE Government on November 25.
