Barak Valley Blood Donors Forum: New Women Committee Formed

The Barak Valley Blood Donors Forum: Women’s Wings came into existence in the year 2017 and has been successfully organising camps and meeting up blood requirements from the last two years. The team that began with 10-12 members is now a family of 35 women who have been working effortlessly. From homemakers to students, the family have no age barrier and is always open to all.

Today a new committee has been formed at Hotel Kalpataru in the presence of the senior members of the BVBDF Cachar District Committee. The committee will be valid for 3 years.

Shikta Paul has been given the charge of President and Sweta Roy as Secretary.
Ananya Choudhury and Pinky Mullick have been assigned as Vice President and Banni Paul & Saheli Deb have been assigned as Assistant Secretary.

Bubu Choudhury is appointed as the treasurer and the social media/media section will be handled by Neha Chakraborty.

There are 12 executive members assigned overall: Puja Choudhury, Roshnara Mazumdar, Gouri DebNath, Anita Choudhury, Manideepa Deb, Pompy Banik, Aloka Deb, Garima Jain, Nikita Banik, Rupali Paul, Gopa Nath and Kanika Dey

The new committee has seeked well wishes, blessings and co-operation from everyone and has promised to stand by everyone’s expectations and work harder for the people. Together they will make this movement reach every people and will give their best in making the Blood Donation Movement more active.
