Bhanwar Lal Meena transferred, Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant is Cachar's new SP; Ramandeep Kaur becomes SP Hailakandi

Just 10 months after joining as the Superintendent of Cachar Police, Bhanwar Lal Meena has been transferred. The Home department Government of Assam issued an order today announcing the rejig in the top of the district’s Police.

The order states, “In the interest of public service, Nimbalkar Vaibhav Chandrakant, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Tinsukia is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Cachar.”

The order also informs that in the interest of public service Bhanwar Lal Meena IPS Superintendent of Police Cachar is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (Vigilance and anti-corruption) Guwahati Assam.

Before Tinsukia, Nimbalkar was the SP of Jorhat too.

Hailakandi’s SP Pabindra Kumar Nath has also been transferred. The order states, “In the interest of police service Ramandeep Kaur, Superintendent of Police, Hamren is transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police Hailakandi”

Nath will now be the Superintendent of Police, Nalbari.
