Bhojpuri Parishad celebrates foundation day with fanfare

The Cachar District Committee of the Akhil Assam Bhojpuri Parishad (AABP) celebrated its 11th foundation day with fanfare and enthusiasm at its office at Itkhola in Silchar on Saturday.

Parishad president Ranjan Singh hoisted the flag of the organisation in the office premises around 9 am this morning in presence of other dignitaries.

Thereafter, a programme titled — ‘Bichar Vimarsh’ was held in which luminaries including Kameshwar Gajlu, Sanjeev Roy, Ranjan Singh, Kashi Prashad Singh, Binapani Mishra, Chanchala Nunia, Bandita Trivedi Roy, Prem Sagar Singh, Pinki Singh and Rajesh Mishra among others participated and shared their views and perspectives.

Three dynamic Bhojpuri youths of Silchar were felicitated by the organisation. Rahul Singh (national cricketer), Sanjit Pandey (national hockey player) and Kamalesh Tewari (yoga trainer) were felicitated. The programme was anchored by Sanjeev Roy, vice president AABP central committee, Assam.
