Bibartan and Aajker Projonmo to present 'Hemlin er Piku' and 'Opare' today at Banga Bhavan

Barak Valley is a land of rich culture and the youngsters of today’s generation have happily accepted their responsibility of carrying forward the trend of culture be it theatre, music, dance or any other folk arena.

From the past few years, a huge number of youngsters are seen taking interest in theatre. Out of this, team “Bibortan” from Hailakandi and team “Ajker Projonmo” from Silchar have made their place in everyone’s heart with their commendable productions.

Aaj Bosonto, Teen Putul er Golpo, 3010, Chaichi Tomar Bondhuta, Golpo Karer Golpo are some of their well played stage.

Today, both the team will be performing at Banga Bhawan from 6:30 pm where they will stage one of their new production “Hemlin er Piku” and the other team will perform “Opare”

Opare is all about NRC and devoter issue, written by Mahasweta Deb. It was last staged in 2015.

Hemlin er Piku is about a kid, who has lost his smile because of many reasons. The audience will get to know whether he will be able to smile at the end or not. This interesting story is written by one of the well known storywriter of our valley, Indraneel Dey.

Both the production is directed by Sayan Biswas. The entire unit of both the production house will await your presence. Join them and boost them up for their two wonderful production
