Bir Radha Sherpa will be seen as captain in Zee TV’s Dance India Dance

Proud moment for Barak Valley and entire Assam, Silchar’s young dancing sensation Bir Radha Sherpa will now be seen as ‘Captain’ (Skipper) in Zee TV’s Dancing Reality show Dance India Dance Lil Masters. As a captain (skipper) he will mentor young participants and take on other three teams. His team’s name is ‘Bir Ke Bahubali’.

Two years back no one knew Bir Radha Sherpa, then he featured in a dancing reality show just like any other ordinary contestant, from there he never looked back, he went on to win the show and then participated in another show and won that too. Now from participant he has become a captain and will mentor young kids. DID Lil Masters is the same show, which did not select Bir Radha among the the top contestants who appeared on TV. Because of his hard work and consecutive victories the same show which did not select him has now appointed him as a skipper (captain) to mentor participants.  

 DID Lil Masters went on air last weekend and Bir will feature in the show from March 24, 2018 onwards. The show is hosted by famous television face Jay Bhanushali and is judged by celebrity model, Chitrangada Singh Bollywood director Siddharth Anand and choreographer Marzi Pestonzi. Apart from Bir, Tanay Malhara, Vaishnavi Patil and Jitumani Kalita will also captain their own team. Kids will be distributed among four teams and they will compete against each other.

 So far Bir has performed himself and raced to triumph in reality shows, but now he will have to train younger contestants and make them perform well on stage. Dance India Dance is a prestigious reality show, Punit Pathak, Shakti Mohan Dharmesh Yelande are big names in the dancing fraternity today and all of them at some stage were participants and mentors in the show.

 It’s a great feat for Bir and a moment of pride for Barak Valley.
