Body of a South Indian lady found hanging in a toilet of a school in Hailakandi

Hilakandi district has been shocked by the suicide of a housewife whose body was found hanging with a rope in the toilet. The couple who had returned from a different state was not allowed to enter their house and therefore had to seek refuge at a nearby school. On 13th day, the lady identified as 30-year-old Sarabin Taj shockingly decided to kill herself. The incident took place in Nishchintopur II block village of Hailakandi on Saturday night. Although, people got to know about it the next morning.

It is learned that Abul Hossain Lashkar, a resident of Nishchintopur II Khand village, was working in Shivaji Nagar, Bangalore, South India. There he married a young woman named Serbin Taj. They have an eight-year-old son named Umar Akbar Hussain. Abul Hussain Lashkar returned to Hailakandi on June 26 with his wife and son due to lockdown. At Dhaneshwar Point, as usual, they were tested and sent to home quarantine.

But because they came from a different state, the family did not allow them to stay at home. As a result, they spent the first three days helplessly on the verandah of a shop in the village. Then, on the advice of the GP president, they took shelter in the village primary school.

Meanwhile, Abul Hussain Lashkar and his son Umar Akbar Hussain’s swab test report came negative on Saturday. But Serbin Taj’s report did not come. According to locals, Sarbin, who came from Bangalore in South India, wanted to return to Bangalore after facing such an unexpected situation. Corona’s panic haunted her. Amid this, Serbin Taj decided to kill herself on Saturday night.

Abul Hussain Laskar discovered his wife in the school toilet on Sunday morning. Upon receiving the news, the police rushed to the spot, recovered the body and sent it for autopsy. The incident has caused intense unrest in the entire area. On the other hand, the report of Sarbin Taj’s corona test on Sunday was reported to be negative.
